Karen Kow

Rev. Karen Kow is an ordained Minister in the World Wide International Metaphysical Ministry and is a certified Professional Therapeutic Counsellor and Psychologist. She holds a Masters in Metaphysical Science (USA), a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from one of the top ten universities in the UK and have had many experiences dealing with children, teenagers and adults while in the UK. She also hold a certification in Professional Clinical Hypnotherapy qualified by George A. Bien himself, America's authority on subconscious reprogramming and recipient of every major award in hypnosis.

Her experience in the corporate world offers a tremendously wide range of challenges and experiences and has since developed a wide extent of knowledge and skills. Her endless passion for people and her strong belief that given the right guidance, skills and strategies people can strive to be the best that they can be, has led her to pursue her dream to offer services to serve exactly this purpose.

Karen believes that there are great self-empowering abilities embedded deep within each and every one of us waiting to be discovered. With the right integration of Psychology, actualisation of mind power and a great mental attitude, people can go the extra mile, stretch their limits to greater heights to achieve what they've also wanted, and be the best person they aspire to be.

Her greatest desire is to clarify the many negative misconceptions of Psychology and for people to see the positive aspect of Psychology and its application to real life, using the skills and techniques to their advantage.

Karen has impacted the lives of many of her clients whether it is purely physical like weight loss, or areas involving emotional healing. Her flexibility, diligent planning and intuitive application of her skills and knowledge across a spectrum of modalities and therapies has made a difference in the end results of her clients' goals - truly outstanding. Her optimism and encouragement overwhelms you; her zest for life, and all things in life, is never ending.

My professional interests focus around a holistic understanding of how and why human beings develop their perceptions of, and reactions to, themselves and others as they negotiate their paths throughout the lifespan. My therapy focuses upon the cognitive, behavioural, emotional and spiritual issues which manifest as a result of pain/disease associated with any of the issues involved in a person's life. Professionally and personally, I pursue a life-long development of self development of self awareness, as well as self monitoring and adjustment.

My areas of expertise are:

Chronic stress - It can have devastating effects on your sleep, concentration, personal relationships, self image, and overall quality of life. Whether the cause if with your relationships (marriage, affairs, co-workers, children, partner, etc.), personal (spiritual and personal growth, moral dilemmas, mental or physical illness) or environmental, such as problems with work, housing, employment, or income, professional help can have a direct, positive effect on your ability to live your life more effectively.

Relationships - Feelings of incompetence, insecurities, loneliness, anger, resentment, despair and hopelessness can permeate your relationships where the pain of unresolved personal issues can result in repetitive, alienating thoughts and behaviours. Counselling can enhance the possibilities for real changes in your intimate relationships as well as your friend, family, and work related relationships.

Personal development - The most important and crucial thing you can do for yourself. Whether it is self esteem, self confidence, anger, grief, overcoming bad habits, weight loss or finding peace, these are not isolated issues. If you are suffering from any of these, it will surely affect your work productivity, intimate relationships, work related relationships and your physical and emotional health. In one phrase, "Change begins with yourself".

Li Lian Kow

Li Lian Kow graduated from the Liverpool John Moores University, UK and holds a BSc (Hons) in Pharmaceutical & Chemical Science.

She is also currently a Sales and Marketing Manager with a telecommunication and broadband company.

Li Lian is responsible for the development of marketing plans and implementation of strategies including management of marketing activities within limited budget requirements. Prior to joining GO Lightspeed Broadband, Li Lian has experience in the pharmaceutical industry where her key experiences include maintaining of major accounts within the private and government health sector, and implementing and conducting sales training for the sales force. Li Lian is also familiar with developing pharmaceutical brands to their optimal potential throughout product lifeclycle through effective business planning and marketing directives for Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore.

As part of the Path To Excellence team, Li Lian is in the process of completing her Nutritional course, and greatly shares and contributes her skills and knowledge from the pharmaceutical industry as well as her experiences in our corporate training for Sales and Marketing.

A highly respected individual, Li Lian plays an important role in the marketing of services for Path To Excellence, is goal driven and result oriented. She has great ideas and creativity and is a fantastic person to work with.
